Fold. Store. Carry.Sound familiar?
- You move your phone far away or bring it very close to read a message.
- You check the amount or account number again before making a bank transfer.
- Small words in a newspaper or on a receipt are hard to read.
- You ask someone nearby to help you read what is written.
Far & Near glasses have one part for reading up close and another for seeing far. Here is how they work.
One pair · read near and see far
Read close. See far.
Use the lower part of each lens to read small words. Look through the top part to see things far away. You will see a thin curved line on the lens where the two parts meet. This is normal. It is a bifocal lens, not a progressive lens.
Look up to see far
Look through the other part of the lens when you want to see things far away.
Fold it and keep it close
Fold the glasses into their case. Keep them in your bag, drawer or beside your bed.
Books & newspapersKeep the print in focus while you read.

Frequently asked questions
How do these glasses work?
Use the lower part of each lens to read small words. Look through the top part to see things far away.
Is this a progressive lens?
No. It is a bifocal. The top part is for far. The lower part is for reading. There is a thin curved line between them that you can see. If you want a progressive lens with no line, please do not order this one.
How do I choose a lens strength?
Choose from the strengths in the order form. If you are unsure, ask an eye-care professional before ordering.
Does it have a blue-light filter?
The product is listed with a blue-light filtering feature. Blue-light filtering lenses have not been shown to reliably reduce screen-related eye strain or improve sleep, so those results are not promised. The Far & Near design is for near and distance viewing.
Can it treat cataracts, glaucoma or other eye conditions?
No. These are reading glasses, not treatment for an eye condition. Please speak with an eye-care professional about cataracts, glaucoma, persistent blurred vision or other symptoms.
Do the lenses get dark in sunlight?
No. They stay clear in sunlight.
What comes in the package?
The glasses are supplied in the quantities shown on the package cards, and a carry case is included.
How do delivery and payment work?
Delivery is free. Pay in cash or by transfer when your order arrives.
Do you have other frame colours?
The page shows the gold frame.
